AIRAYA was formed in November 2001 by a team of wireless industry veterans with more than 20 years of combined experience in the wireless network communications field. Our extensive engineering, sales, marketing, and support expertise, coupled with our customer-focused approach, make AIRAYA an easy company to partner with.

Mike Nydam - President and CEO

Formerly the director of channel sales for start-up Proxim Inc., now a world leader in wireless LAN and fixed wireless products. Mr. Nydam spent more than 7 years creating and developing new strategies, markets, channels of distribution, and support infrastructure for Proxim products in the Americas and Asia Pacific Regions. Prior to Proxim, Mr. Nydam spent more than 4 years creating and implementing OEM and channel strategies for start-up Accton Technology, now a world leader in network communications products. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration (marketing and quantitative studies) and a minor in economics from San Jose State University.

Bill Pabst - Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Pabst has over 20 years of experience in data communications and software design.  Having worked at the engineering director level for companies such as Fujitsu, Metricom, Proxim, and Symbol Technology, Mr. Pabst's expertise in system architecture, product development, and technical project management were directly related to radio systems integration and development. Mr. Pabst's work at Intel, Sun Microsystems, and Proxim, directing and managing Professional Services groups, enabled them to bring design and engineering services directly to customers and partners. He has a a master's degree in computer science, a bachelor's degree in mathematics, and a minor in business administration from San Jose State University. Mr. Pabst has also taught graduate level courses in the graduate school of business and computer science departments at San Jose State University.

HH LIM - Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa

Formerly the director of Asia Pacific and China for Terabeam. Prior to Terabeam, Mr. Lim was the director of Asia Pacific for Wave Wireless as well as P-COM after the acquisition. Mr. Lim was also the director and general manager of SPEEDCOM Shanghai WOFE. Mr. Lim has over 15 years of experience in regional sales management, establishing and managing distribution channels and OEMs.

Richard Costa - Senior Advisor

Mr. Costa has over 25 years of experience in the networking industry both as a principle in technical network products distribution and as an investor  Mr. Costa founded and grew Costa Distributing into a leading regional network distribution company in the United states before selling the company to another distributor.
